Ever Since L.A. Record switched from a monthly to a quarterly format, I’ve been borrowing interesting stories from past issues and turning them into a little feature for their expanded comics section. This appears pretty prominently in the magazine every 3 months… or 4 months… or whenever they get around to printing a new issue.
Here are the first six Tales from L.A. Record, or as I call them: Season 1.

The National Cartoonists Society, Scholastic, and everything from PR companies and Skateboard companies to candidates for Superior Court judge.

Our illustration work regularly appears in L.A. Record and various other magazines, and on the walls of clubs and bars from Los Angeles to New York.

The National Cartoonists Society liked the website we built for them so much that they awarded us the Silver T-Square, one of the highest honors they bestow. US Presidents Eisenhower and Truman have won it too... although we assume it wasn't for web-design.

We’re also the band Pop Noir.
